About Us

TMCC’s Workforce Development and Continuing Education Division offers northern Nevada’s largest selection of non-credit professional success courses, along with customized training to help your business grow. Programs are in all areas of workplace communication including Spanish/English specific to each worksite with language certificate available to document Bilingual staff’s ability to interpret accurately. Workshops/seminars in computer applications, supervisory/management proficiency, environmental, health, workplace safety, OSHA and DOT compliance topics are scheduled for ongoing registration as well as offered with content tailored to each company’s need. Training is offered 24 hours a day, seven days a week and can be held at your facility or a TMCC campus.

The TMCC Safety Center is the largest provider of safety training and compliance services in Northern Nevada. Since it’s inception in 1987, the TMCC Safety Center has trained over 60,000 private sector and government employees in a variety of OSHA, EPA, DOT and Homeland Security topics. Utilizing a cadre of over 20 “topic experts”, the TMCC Safety Center has grown into a national service provider with clients spanning from Denver, CO to Los Angeles, CA. The programs and services offered by the Safety Center are available in both open public registration workshops and customized offerings to meet the specific needs of each unique business client. All of our programs are available in most languages and can be delivered 24 hours a day/7 days a week. Our programs can be held at a client’s location or on a TMCC campus.
